Direct access to Filey beach by a footpath which is less than a 10-minute walk from the property.

SeaSpray is a 4-star holiday property set in the bay, close to the picturesque seaside resort of Filey, North Yorkshire.

Filey is a traditional family orientated seaside town in North Yorkshire, England, it is part of the borough of Scarborough between Scarborough and Bridlington on the North Sea coast.

Although it was a fishing village, it has a large beach and became a popular tourist resort.

“On arrival the cleaners were still cleaning the property (not surprised with the extra precautions due to covid 19 ) and were very apologetic, when we got in the property it was spotless hand gel and hand wash was at every sink anti-bacterial wipes in the kitchen bag of wash tabs for the washer and tablets for the dishwasher and washing up liquid and cloths. several pods for the Tassimo and biscuits also a nice bottle of red wine which was a nice thought. The handle on the bi-folding doors was a bit loose but we had been told this before we arrived by the owner so not a problem at all. all bedding and towels where crisp and clean, (only slight groan is the back right-hand bedroom is a bit tight to get around with the double bed), View from the balconies was brilliant, on a Wednesday morning we watched merlin helicopters flying to our new aircraft carrier and a convoy of royal navy frigates, Overall we have stopped at the bay for the last 4 years in another property and decided to have a change this year views were a lot better, the property was comfy and well-equipped everything you needed for your stay. Big thank you to Richard and Felicity for a restful and safe holiday.”

"We had an excellent stay at SeaSpray, very welcoming, clean, equipment and utensils, etc in the kitchen looked brand new with a coffee machine, pods, and biscuits which was a lovely touch. Cleaning products which we would normally have to bring with us for other cottages were in the kitchen and bathrooms as well as handwash and sanitizer. The view across the sea was stunning. The Bay Resort didn't disappoint again nice and quiet and well looked after/cared-for gardens. Short walk to the beautiful beach."

"We stayed at SeaSpray for a long weekend and really loved it. The house was warm (even during in stormy February), clean and had everything we could have wanted. It is 5 minutes walk from the beach, and 100m from a little children's playground, both of which the 2 year-old in our party loved. We had one dog with us and it was also great for him. I would highly recommend this property and we hope to go back."

"The house was amazing, the views from the lounge and bedroom windows were beautiful. Watching the wild rabbits on the grass was lovely. The house was very very clean, had lovely fresh crisp sheets, the beds were so comfy and lovely pillows. The bathroom was lovely great power shower. The kitchen has Everything you need loads of plates and cutlery so can fill the dishwasher and still have plenty left to use. I was surprised to find the cupboard full of salt pepper etc and loads of different condiments, which you don’t usually get. Loads of t towels and cleaning products which is a nice bonus. Loads of games for the children. The tv had Netflix. Great location short walk to the beach and pub. 2nd visit to the bay and this property is amazing will definitely book this house again."

"Seaspray is a great base for a family break. The cottage itself is well equipped and has enough space for 6 to live and eat happily. The rear of the property leads through large folding doors and onto a nice green area which is great for views and playtime! The resort itself is also good, with a pub, pizza kitchen, coffee shop, arcade, and leisure facilities to hand. The only thing to be wary of is walking around the resort as there are no pavements (which can be tricky when trying to walk with a group including kids!)."
